My screen name on Archive Of Our Own is ChaosBlue, and I'm the formidable host of The FanFic Maverick Podcast. I'm not a fanfiction writer myself, but I've been reading and loving fanfiction for 24 beautiful years. I started this show because I believe fanfiction is a meaningful cultural phenomenon that deserves safe platforms where it can be celebrated, discussed, and analyzed in positive ways.
I adore talking to fanfiction writers from all over the world. You writers and readers are my people. My community. I hope you love listening to this show as much as I love producing it.
I currently live in the cactus-filled sands of the American Southwest with my brother, my doggo Elim, and my cat Philip. When I'm not reading fanfiction or working on the podcast I like dancing, tending my citrus trees, and SourPatch Kids. My favorite current fandoms are Cobra Kai, The Witcher, The Mandalorian, Star Trek, The Hobbit, Leverage, and Stranger Things.
