In this episode I interview fanfiction writer Emiliaf25 about her Detroit: Become Human fics 'Callling From the Bottom But You Don't Hear Me' and 'You Are Not Alone.' She fondly recalls an entire childhood summer spent reading Pokemon fanfiction and snacking on Gushers, waiting for trolls on FFN, and then talks about her introduction to the Detroit: Become Human video game. We discuss themes of found family, vulnerability, and redemption in her fics and touch on the familial relationship between Connor and Hank. Emiliaf25 offers some great writer's block advice and then shares her thoughts on the wonderful reasons why fanfiction is a worthy pursuit.
